What the Job Actually Involves

Lead Installers are responsible for the job, the crew, the customer experience, and the finished result.

You will:

  • Review the project requirements
  • Manage the installation from start to finish
  • Direct a small crew
  • Assign responsibilities
  • Oversee concrete preparation and repairs
  • Manage material preparation and application
  • Monitor quality throughout the project
  • Communicate with the homeowner
  • Communicate with operations leadership
  • Solve jobsite problems
  • Protect the customer's property
  • Maintain a clean and professional worksite
  • Complete required project documentation
  • Keep the installation trailer organized and ready

A Realistic Day

A typical day begins around 7:00 AM.

You will prepare the crew, trailer, and materials before traveling to the jobsite. Once there, you will review the project, communicate with the homeowner, assign responsibilities, and lead the installation.

You are expected to work alongside the crew while maintaining responsibility for quality, organization, safety, and communication.

Completion times vary based on project size, travel, concrete conditions, and unexpected issues.

Lead Installers must provide a qualifying pickup truck capable of safely towing the assigned trailer.
